Use case

Voice inbox triage

Voice-first triage for the morning inbox. Speak the rules, the agent drafts the replies, you approve every send. The mobile loop a busy founder actually finishes before standup.

How it works

  1. 01

Tap the mic — speak your triage rules

Open Helix, hold the mic. "Defer anything from billing. Draft a polite no for inbound recruiter emails. Surface only deals over $50k." The agent inherits the policy.

  2. 02

    Watch the queue fill

The agent reads the inbox, applies the rules, and drafts replies in your voice. A ranked queue surfaces the next decision; nothing autoplays without your approval.

  3. 03

    Approve in one tap each

Approve, edit, or skip with a single tap. Every action is logged per-identity. You can revoke or retrain the agent at any time.

In plain prose

Triage is a high-frequency, low-stakes job that nonetheless eats the first hour of every morning. Most "inbox AI" tools push you into a new app; Helix sits on top of your real Gmail or Outlook and runs the loop in the place email already lives.

Voice is the fastest input on mobile, and approving a draft is the fastest output. Together, they collapse a 200-email backlog into a 60-second swipe. The Web Speech API powers the input where supported; on browsers without it (notably some older iOS Safari builds), typed input runs the same flow.

Privacy matters for triage. Prediction logic runs client-side, models are not trained on your messages, and Helix only stores the metadata needed to run the agent (identity bindings, approval state, audit events).

FAQ

Does the agent send without approval?

No. The default policy queues every send for a human nod. You can lower the bar per-identity, but the dashboard always shows the policy in effect.

Does this work on iPhone?

Yes. Helix is a PWA — install it from Safari or Chrome. Voice input uses the Web Speech API where available; typed input is the fallback.

What about my private inbox?

You can run triage on a dedicated agent inbox instead of your personal mailbox. The agent has its own address, its own context, and you can revoke it without touching your real email.
